What VALÉORINE is
VALÉORINE is a curated online auction platform and knowledge infrastructure. VALÉORINE conducts its own specialist auctions, while admitted independent auction houses may conduct their own sales under their own identity. Private owners submit objects for review; they do not self-list. The Encyclopedia publishes source-backed reference records. Every sale identifies the house conducting it. Objects remain with their owner until they are sold. Unless specifically arranged, nothing is sent to VALÉORINE, which does not routinely warehouse submitted objects: once a buyer has paid, the consignor despatches the lot directly to the buyer by an approved tracked service, within the deadline published on the sale.

VALÉORINE is not an open self-listing marketplace. Private owners cannot publish lots themselves; VALÉORINE reviews their submissions. Admitted professional auction houses may publish and conduct their own catalogues under their own identity. Every lot names the party responsible for the catalogue entry, provenance is stated only as far as it can be documented, and each sale is recorded in the transaction register.
